State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division Junaid Ahmed Palak today said there is no alternative to the active participation of grassroots leaders and workers of the Awami League in achieving the goals of a prosperous country.
“There is no alternative to the active participation of grassroots leaders and workers of the Awami League in achieving the goals of a prosperous, modern, technology-based merit-rich country by 2041,” he said.
He said this at a view exchange meeting with the presidents, general secretaries of Singra upazila and Municipal Awami League and other local leaders at the upazila Hallroom.
Upazila Awami League President Advocate Sheikh Ohidur Rahman presided over the meeting.
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman established our right to speak in Bengali. Bangabandhu always struggled for the rights of the people of this country, he said.
In just three and a half years, he got the opportunity to serve the country and laid a strong foundation for building ‘Sonar Bangla’, Palak said.
“Following the path shown by Bangabandhu, the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina has built a digital technology-based Bangladesh instead of a labor dependent economy with talent, honesty and courage,” he said.
