The global premium smartphone brand TECNO Mobile has recently announced two of its newest innovations in smartphone photography: sensor shift and telescopic lens, which are never-before-seen features in Android smartphones.
These new photography technologies promise to open TECNO’s customer base up to a new realm of smartphone photography.
Sensor Shift is an image stabilization technology which swaps out lens movements for sensor movements to compensate for vibrations while capturing an image.
In the future, the control accuracy of TECNO’s sensor shift is seen to reach 350% of the current level, with further algorithm optimization. With this, consumers will be able to capture studio-quality photos with greater stability.
Meanwhile, the telescopic lens, which offers large aperture and continuous lossless zoom, allows users to benefit from better-quality for profile and telephotography, as well multi-purpose functionality.
In a webinar entitled “Global Mobile Camera Trends 2022: Innovation Talk”, TECNO Mobile revealed their plans to release the first-ever Android smartphones to make use of Sensor Shift and Telescopic Lens in 2022.Additionally, TECNO Mobile has also announced the self-developed RGBW sub-pixel rendering algorithm in its phones in 2022.
