Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) president Faruque Hassain said both workers and owners have to remain united and work in a spirit of collaboration to take up emerging challenges and turn them into opportunities for the RMG industry.
Faruque Hassan made remarks while addressing a Iftar Mahfil organized by BGMEA for the leaders of garment workers’ organizations in Radisson Blu in Dhaka on Tuesday.
BGMEA president said country’s RMG industry is going through a very important time when enormous opportunities on one side and many challenges are on the other side.
Concerted efforts would help the industry to strengthen its standing in the changing business landscape, he added.
He said they would have to remain united to maintain the momentum, if the industry performs well, it will benefit the workers, owners and the country as a whole.
