Daffodil International University organised a special workshop on “Ransom ware: Demystifying Attack Methodology at Financial Sector” at Daffodil Smart City on May 25 to protect against cyber-attacks.
Prof SM MahbubUlHaqueMajumder, pro-vice chancellor of the university, was present as the chief guest while Dr Syed MizanurRahman, director of Student Affairs, associate Prof Imran Mahmud, head of the Department of SWE, and NMIRaisul Bari, manager, Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC), were present as special guests.
Associate Prof MdMaruf Hassan, Department of SWE, and director of Cyber Security Centre of Daffodil International University, presided over the day-long programme, said a press release.
