Ispahani Tea Limited received an honourary commemorative in recognition of its significant contribution to the tea industry of Bangladesh at a function organized on the occasion of the ‘2nd National Tea Day 2022’, a press release said Saturday.
Mirza Salman Ispahani, Chairman, Ispahani Tea Limited, received the award on behalf of Ispahani Group on the occasion of Nationa Tea Day, being organized by the Bangladesh Tea Board since 2021.
Special honour and recognitions were given to various individuals and organizations for their important contributionsto tea production and the development of the tea industry of Bangladesh.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi as present as the Chief Guest while the Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment,Imran Ahmed MP was present as the Special Guest. The event was presided over by Tapan Kanti Ghosh, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce.
Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Board, Major General Md.Ashraful Islam; FBCCI President, Mohammad Jasim Uddin; Chairman of Tea Traders Association of Bangladesh, Omar Hannan and Chairman of Bangladesh Tea Association, M. Shah Alam were also present.
