Three individuals and 24 teams came out as winners in different segments RUET CSE Fest 2K22, a press release said Wednesday.
The segments included Programming Contest, Project Showcasing, Idea/Poster Contest, Line Follower Robot, Gaming Contest, Tech Photo Exhibition and Quiz Contest. The winners received a total prize money of over Tk 3,50,000.
Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sheikh, Vice-Chancellor of RUET, attended the award distribution ceremony held at RUET campus as the Chief Guest and Prof. Dr. Md. Al Mamun, Head of Department of CSE, RUET as Organizing Chair. Prof. Dr. Md. Shahid Uz Zaman, Prof. Dr. Boshir Ahmed from RUET CSE department, Shahriar Manzoor, Associate Professor of Southeast University were present as Special Guests.
Md. Taufiqur Rahman, Senior Manager, Huawei Technologies (Bangladesh) Limited joined from Huawei, the technology partner of this event.
RUET CSE Fest 2K-22, one of the biggest tech carnivals in Bangladesh, kicked off on 16 April 2022. More than two thousand students registered to take part in this event. Out of them, the juries selected more than 700 students as eligible participants from 70+ universities based on their projects and idea.
