Some products and services may be costlier or cheaper as Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal today proposed some changes to tariff on those in the new budget.
There might be decrease in the prices of different products and services, including launch fare, man-made fibre, steel raw materials, paper and fabrics, wheelchair, hearing aid, LED TV, pet food, agricultural products, pet, food prices at restaurants with air conditioning, poultry farm machinery, agricultural products, puffed rice, sugar, power tiller, locally made mobile phone charger, fish feed and poultry feed, braille book and stainless steel.
On the other hand, price may increase in case of some products, including cigarettes, e-sim, microbus, cheese, curd, shaving materials, cleaning materials, cosmetics, air freshener, anti-bacterial products, GI fittings, first-class railway services, meditation services, Covid-19 test kits, PPEs, masks, imported laptop computers, elevators, air conditioner, printers and toner cartridges.
