NSU, US Embassy hold chorus performance by Harvard Krokodiloes

The North South University (NSU)and The U.S. Embassy, Dhaka jointly organized the very first ‘Chorus Performance’ by the Harvard Krokodiloes in Bangladesh at NSU Auditorium on June 16, 2022, a press release said Friday.

As a part of ‘The Harvard Krokodiloes’ 2022 World Summer Tour’, a delegation from the USA is visiting Bangladesh to display their performance.

The Harvard Krokodiloes are oldest cappella singing group of Harvard University, USA, founded in 1946. The concept of this group originated from The Kroks, which is rooted in the Hasty Pudding Club, founded in 1770 and recognized as the oldest collegiate social organization in the United States.

Deputy Chief of Mission at the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, Helen La Fave, was present as the Special Guest and Vice-Chancellor, NSU, Professor Atiqul Islam chaired the program. Delegates from the US Embassy and their Public Affairs Section were present at the programme.

Professor Dr. M. Ismail Hossain, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of NSU, Prof. ABM Rashedul Hassan, Treasurer, Deans of different schools, Directors of various departments, department heads, senior officials, teachers, and students of NSU were also present.
