Country’s popular artist Nilu Ahsanhas rendered few popular songs of late Lata Mangeshkar, a renowned singer of the subcontinent and the world music court.
Vocalist Nilu Ahsan said, “I grew up singing Lataji’s songs from a young age and tried to capture his songs in my voice and heart.” The artist added, “I am a great fan of her.” She is my icon. I still do not believe that she is no more in this world. However, Lataji will live forever in the hearts of millions of people through her songs.
She further said that Lata Mangeshkar is a history. He is a music company in his collection of songs,an ideal of the music world. She can be characterized by many attributions. But in my opinion, the appropriate attribution for her is – she is ananthropoid of pure music. She has fascinated millions of people all her life with her love in music.
Nilu Ahsan has released more than 288 songs in Bangla & Hindi in YouTube sofar. Her husband Nazmul Ahsan has become Model with few video songs. Music director Ahmed Farid has composed most of her songs.Zinnia Rumi has directed the music video for each song.

Legendary artiste Lata Mangeshkar, who has been captivating audiences and critics for seven decades, was born in 1929 at Indore, India. But her music has surpassed India and brought her to the court of world music.
Her music career started in 1942, singing Marathi songs. In 1948, she sang in the first Hindi movie. She sang the song ‘Pa LaguKar Jodi’ in BasantJoglekar’s ‘Aap Ki Seba Mein’. Two years later, composer Ghulam Haider gave her first big chance.
After the song ‘DilMeraTora’ in ‘Majboor’, Lata did not have to look back. LataMangeshkar has sung about 30,000 songs. She has sung in 36 languages. Bengali is also among them. She has sung many other famous Bengali songs including ‘PremEkbarAshschiloNirabe’, ‘AsharShravan Mane Na To Mann’, ‘O MorMoyna Go’, ‘O Palash O Shimul’, ‘AkashPradeepJele’.
In 2001, Lata Mangeshkar was awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest state honor. In 1989, she received the DadasahebPhalke Award.
