Midland Bank has organized a virtual discussion session on the life and work of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, marking National Mourning Day, a press release said Sunday. Members of the board of directors participated in the discussion session and extolled the great life of Bangabandhu and focused on the leadership lessons from his life that can be implemented in relation to finance, banking and related economic activities. Mrs. Nilufer Zafarullah, chairman of the bank was present as chief guest, Md. Shamsuzzaman, vice chairman, Rezaul Karim, chairman of the board executive committee, Dr. Mostafizur Rahman, director, Nazimuddin Chowdhury, independent director, Md. Kamal Hossain, sponsor shareholder of the bank were present as special guest. Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, MD and CEO was also present along with Md. Zahid Hossain, DMD and delivered the welcome speech.
