DROPSHEP gets BASIS ICT award

DROPSHEP has won the BASIS National ICT Award for app-based industrial supply chain logistics service providers, a press release said Tuesday.

The award distribution ceremony was held at the Radisson Blu Water Garden in the capital on October 31. State Minister for Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak distributed the awards among the winners as a chief guest.

DROPSHEP founder Mostafizur Rahman and co-founder M. A Morsalin Tomal received the award on behalf of the company. Through the DROPSHEP app, the services can be delivered easily, quickly and at an affordable price to each and every corner of the country by road and water.

BASIS (Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services) introduced the award to encourage innovative and promising individuals and organizations to build a digital Bangladesh. This year, 68 awards were distributed in 36 categories.
