United Commercial Bank Limited (UCB) has signed a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement with Thakral One, a recognised Microsoft Licensing Solution Partner, to deliver exceptional value, cost-savings and best-in-class security, a press release said Tuesday. Abdullah Al Mamoon, DMD and COO of UCB and Sook Hoon Cheah, general manager, Microsoft SEA New Markets, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization. Kashef Rahman, Senior vice president and head of information technology at UCB, Basab Bagchi, CEO at Thakral One, Mark Walton, COO, Microsoft SEA New Markets and Yousup Faruqu, country ND, Microsoft Bhutan, Bangladesh & Nepal in addition to senior personnel from the Bank, Thakral One were also present.
