Midland Bank Limited has signed a participatory agreement with the Bangladesh Bank for disbursement of loans under a refinancing scheme worth Tk 5,000 crore at the latter’s headquarters in the city on 8th January 2023, a press release said Tuesday. Abdur Rouf Talukder, Governor of BB, Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, MD and CEO of Midland Bank, and Md Abul Kalam Azad, director of agricultural credit department of BB, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Deputy Governor, AKM Sajedur Rahman Khan, and Md. Ahsan Jamil Hossain, head of SME division of Midland Bank, were also present.
