North South University (NSU) has awarded 12 faculty members at a ceremony held at NSU Auditorium for their research excellence during 2021 and 2022 on Saturday, a press release said.
The programme was chaired by NSU VC, Professor Dr. Atiqul Islam, and organized by NSU’s office of research.
Professor Dr. Biswajit Chanda, a Member of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and professor of Law of the Department of Law and Land Administration at Rajshahi University, was present in the programme as chief guest.
The awardees received gold, silver, or bronze medals according to merit, a certificate of recognition, and a monetary award.
Professor Dr. Norman K. Swazo, director of the office of research-NSU, oversees research administration at the university.
