Country’s leading cattle farm Alamgir Ranch Limited and Evaly have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to sell sacrificial animals for Eid-ul-Azha through Evaly’s e-commerce platform, a press release said Wednesday.
Evaly chairman Shamima Nasrin, Managing Director and Chief Executive Mohammad Rassel and Alamgir Ranch Limited Director and Labib Group Vice Chairman Sultana Jahan, Labib Group Chairman Salahuddin Alamgir and other senior officials were present at the signing ceremony held on June 8.
Alamgir Ranch produces healthy and enhanced breeds of cows for sacrifice across the country.
This is a coordinated effort by the two groups to bring sacrificial cows to customers’ doorsteps in accordance with Covid sanitary guidelines in time for the impending Eid-ul-Azha, the press release said.
Evaly authorities will deliver them to the customer’s designated place at the stated time if the cows of Alamgir Ranch are purchased from Evaly. It is the responsibility of Alamgir Ranch to take care of all the cows till the sacrifice if a buyer purchases a cow from ‘Evaly Gorur Haat.’
