Daffodil International University (DIU) has observed 103rd Birth Anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day 2023, a press release said Thursday.
To mark the day a painting competition among the children was arranged at the academic Building premises and a discussion meeting on ‘Bangabandhu in the Heart’ was organized at Professor Aminul Islam Auditorium of the university today on Thursday.
Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, VC of DIU, presided over the discussion meeting. Prof Dr. S M Mahabubul Haque Majumder, Pro VC of the university, was the keynote speaker in the discussion session.
Mominul Haque Majumder, treasurer, Prof. Dr. Mostafa Kamal, dean, academic affairs, Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, registrar, professor Dr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, director of student affairs, Hamidul Haque Khan, director (finance and accounts) took part in the discussion.
Md. Anowar Habib Kazal, senior assistant director (public relations) conducted the program.
