Pubali Bank Limited has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under a USD300 million refinancing fund, a press release said Monday. The fund was launched under the name of the Covid-19 Emergency and Crisis Response Facility Project (CECRFP) by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank to deal with the liquidity crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and to provide financial assistance. MD and CEO of Pubali Bank, Mohammad Ali, and director of CECRFP, Md. Abdul Wahab, signed the agreement on behalf of thir respective organizations. Abu Farah Md. Nasser, deputy Governor of BB, Pubali Bank DMD, Mohammad Anisuzzaman, general manager and head of CMSME, Md. Faisal Ahmed, were also present.
