Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) celebrated its’ 22nd anniversary on 10th May 2023, as a press release said on Wednesday. On the occasion of 22nd anniversary of the bank, special Doa mahfil & Quran Khatam was organized on 10th 2023 at all branches and sub-branches including the corporate head office. In that Doa Mahfil, special prayers have been offered for the greater welfare of the nation. The Honorable Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mohammed Younus and the Managing Director & CEO Mosleh Uddin Ahmed participated in the Doa Mahfil and delivered speech wishing the bank continued prosperity. Later, the founding anniversary cake was cut in the board meeting room of the corporate head office to celebrate the anniversary. Among others the Vice-Chairman of the Board Mohiuddin Ahmed, the Directors , Md. Sanaullah Shahid and Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, the Additional Managing Directors of the Bank Mr. Abdul Aziz, S. M. Mainuddin Chowdhury, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury & M. Akhter Hossain, the Deputy Managing Directors Md. Shahjahan Shiraj, Imtiaz U. Ahmed & Md. Nazimuddoula along with the divisional heads of various departments and officials participated in the Doa Mahfil. The Doa and munajat were conducted by Mawlana Md. Farid Uddin, the Head of Shariah Inspection & Compliance Division of the Bank.
As Chief Guest the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank Mohammed Younus aslo attained on the occasion.
