A 10-day solo painting exhibition by Laila Sharmeen titled ‘Golden Bengal’ is to begin at La Galerie of Alliance Française de Dhaka on May 20, 2023, a press release said on Thursday. Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury MP, Speaker of, Bangladesh Parliament will attend the inaugural ceremony to be held on Saturday, 20 May 2023 at 6.00 pm, as the chief guest. Marie Masdupuy, Ambassador of France to Bangladesh, Prof. Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, Chairman Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Mr. Faruque Hassan, President, Bangladesh Garment Manufactures and Exports Association (BGMEA) will also attend the event as special guests. The exhibition will be open to all till Monday, 29 May 2023 every day from 3 pm to 9 pm except Sunday
