Dr. Sabur represents country at G20 event

Dr. Sabur Khan, chairman of the board of trustees at Daffodil International University and President of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), who represented Bangladesh and AUAP at the G20 series event, Uni20, in Pune, Maharashtra, India, a press release said Thursday.

He played an active role in the discussions, sharing his insights and ideas on fostering transformation within higher education institutions.

Notable speakers were Harsh Vhardan Shringla, former High Commissioner of Bangladesh and current Chief Coordinator of the G20 Summit, Chandrakant Dada Patil, the Minister for Higher and Technical Education of the Government of Maharashtra, and Dr S. B. Mujumdar, founder & chancellor of Symbiosis International University, the CEOs of University Associations of Australia, South Africa and India.

Dr Khan also visited the office of Youth Aid Foundation in Pune, India and inaugurated the STEM Innovation Centre for the use of 20,000 less privileged children of Pune city. During the time he has also met some industry leaders working in different sectors like IT, AI in creative industries, light design, etc.
