Urmi Group has handed over 20,000 pieces of Turaag Protex Mask to Dhaka South City Corporation for its employees to deal with the corona virus, said a press release on Wednesday.
Asif Ashraf, managing director of Urmi Group and director of BGMEA, handed over the masks to Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh at Nagar Bhaban on Tuesday 22 June.
BGMEA president Farooq Hasan and vice president Md. Shahidullah Azim, were also present at the occasion, the release read.
