Pubali Bank Limited and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) recently signed an agreement for Collecting BREB’s postpaid electricity bill through Pubali Bank’s Online/ Mobile banking apps “PI” by using API. Md. Rabiul Alam, DGM & Head of ADC Division, Pubali Bank Limited and Hasina Begum, Secretary of BREB, signed the agreement on behalf of their organization. Under this agreement, customers of Polli Biddyut Samity will be able to pay their postpaid electricity bill through Pubali Bank’s Internet Banking/PI mobile banking apps. A.S. Sirajul Haque Chowdhury, GM & Regional Manager, Dhaka North Zone of Pubali Bank Limited; Md. Faizul Hoque Sharif, GM & Division Head, General Banking and Operation Division of Pubali Bank Limited; Dipankar Biswas, Member (Finance) of BREB, Md. Hossain Patwary, Controller (Finance and Accounts) of BREB, along with other officials from both the organizations were also present during the signing ceremony.
