The Energy and Mineral Resources Division succeeded in fully implementing its revised annual development programme (RADP) for the recently concluded 2022-23 fiscals.
This was revealed today during a meeting of the Power Division on “Implementation Progress Review of Power Division Development Projects from July 2022 to June 2023”.
While virtually addressing the meeting, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said team initiative and supervision should be strengthened to expedite the implementation of projects as there is no way to suffering from indecision in the implementation of projects.
Mentioning that the cent percent implementation of the RADP in 2022-2023 financial year of the division was definitely commendable, Nasrul said the quality of customer service should be enhanced by taking prompt decisions.
The division has implemented cent percent of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the last two consecutive years and it should be continued in the days to come.
According to the ministry of information, the financial expenditure was Tk. 4176.55 crore and progress rate was 103.04 percent while the financial progress in FY 2021-2022 was 103.52 percent.
Chaired by Energy Division Secretary Md Khairuzzaman Majumdar, the meeting was also addressed, among others, by Chairman of BPC ABM Azad and Chairman of Petrobangla Janendra Nath Sarkar.
