She had to go through a lot of hardships and uncertainty when she lost her father. In the difficult and troubled phase of her life, suddenly she finds a silver lining. She stands before a door. But it is she who has to open the door. Can she open the door to success? How much will Abir’s companionship help? This novel tells us how an ordinary girl marches forward in her life bypassing all adverse situations. The writer Rahitul Islam said, ‘This novel is different from my other novels. I always prefer to write about a certain profession. I figured out that there’s hardly any writing on this chef profession. However, our mothers, sisters and wives work hard to cook for us. They put a lot of care and love to prepare the food for us. But we hardly remember their hard work. Do we ever think about the chefs who cook for us while eating at the restaurants? I have written about Arpa to write about their happiness, sorrows, and dreams.’ He further said that his novel will change many perceptions on the profession of chef in society.
