The Career and Placement Center (CPC) of North South University organized ‘The Pharma Troopers: Set up your career in the pharma industry’Sunday, a press release said on Sunday. This event provided insights and guidance for students aspiring to build their careers in the pharmaceutical field.
The warm and inspiring welcome address delivered by Professor Dr. Mohammad Khasro Miah, Director of the Career and Placement Center (CPC), expressed the importance of the pharmaceutical industry in today’s world and the many opportunities it offers to young professionals.
The session was enlightened by prominent Guest Speakers, Shaikh Raisuzzaman, Manager, Eskayef Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Shoaib-ul Islam, Sr. Deputy Manager, Insulins, Synovia Pharma PLC, Saiham Ahmed Bin Halim, Senior Assistant Manager, Beximco Pharmaceuticals Ltd (BPL).
Throughout the event, our expert speakers and industry professionals shared their insights on a range of topics, including the diverse opportunities within the pharmaceutical industry, the essential preparations for a successful career in this field, and strategies for breaking into and navigating its intricacies. Furthermore, students also engaged in an interactive Q&A session and the top three participants were awarded with prizes in this knowledge exchange moment.
The vote of thanks, delivered by Md. Adit Muktadir Pavel, Senior Lecturer and CPC Coordinator for SHLS (School of Health & Life Sciences), left attendees motivated and well-prepared to their journeys toward success in the pharmaceutical industry.
