A 5-day training workshop on jute products and marketing, organized by SME Foundation and National Small and Cottage Industries Association of Bangladesh (Nasib) Nilphamari District Branch, ended on Wednesday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Saifur Rahman of Nilphamari handed over certificates to the trainees on the concluding ceremony held at the conference hall of Nasib Nilphamari District Branch with Abdul Momin in the chair.
Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Shahid Mahmud, President of Nilphamari Chamber of Commerce and Industry Engineer SM Safiqul Alam Dabulu, Center Incharge of JDPC Rangpur of Ministry of Jute and Textile Mohammad Didarul Haque spoke on the occasion.
Ahsan Rahim Manzil, convenor of Nilphamari district branch of Sanmilita Sanskultur Jot, Farida Khanam, director of Nilphamari district branch of Nasib, Sohani Akhter were present.
A total of 30 entrepreneurs from six upazilas of Nilphamari district participated in the training programme. Mobashwera Rawmatullah provided training from last September 16. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Saifur Rahman, Nilphamari, was the chief guest of the program.
On behalf of the district administration, a laptop was handed over to the members of the Nasib Committee and on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Engineer SM Safiqul Alam Dablo handed over a scanner and a printer.
