DIU organizes international symposium

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) is going to organize an international symposium on, ‘Significance of Regional Cooperation to Ensure the Quality Assurance in Higher Education’ which will be held on 6 July, 2021, in a virtual platform, followed by three vital parallel sessions, said a press release.

In the opening session, minister of foreign affairs Dr. A. K. Abdul Momen, will join as chief guest and professor Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, chairman, Bangladesh accreditation council (BAC), will be the ‘Special Guest’ of the session. Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, chairman, board of trustees, DIU will present as the chief patron. Presided over by professor Dr. SM Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, acting vice chancellor of DIU, the session will be chaired by professor Dr. A.K.M Fazlul Haque, director of IQAC, DIU.

The release said, the symposium will be addressed by renowned quality education (QA) practitioners, academicians, government officials where they will discuss on diverse areas of quality education, focusing the cooperation within regional blocks: BIMSTEC, SAARC and associations like AUAP.
