Barrister MutasimBillahFaruqui, Governor of Rotary International District 3261, inaugurated the planting of 1 million saplings across the country this year on behalf of Rotary on Friday .
He inaugurated the program at SalimuddinChowdhury Degree College premises in Rupganj of Narayanganj district, a press release said.
More than three hundred Rotary clubs have also started planting trees across the country since Friday. Governor Farooqireleased fish fry in winter, inaugurated a free medical camp at KPS General Hospital and distributed educational materials among the students. Rotary leaders were present at the time.
