UBL and UCL contribute to Labour Welfare Foundation

Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) and Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) have contributed approximately Tk 7 crore, 26 lakh, 75 thousand of the company’s profit to the ‘Labour Welfare Foundation’ fund under the Ministry of Labor and Employment as its contribution to workers’ share of profit. Recently, Syeda Durdana Kabir, Human Resource Director, UBL, and Mr. S.O.M. Rashedul Quayum, Legal Director and Company Secretary, UBL, along with Mohammad Naharul Molla, Regulatory Affairs Head and company Secretary, UCL, handed over two checks to Begum Monnujan Sufian, MP, Honorable State Minister of Labour and Employment. Other senior officials of both institutions were present at this time.
