DIU is the first university in Bangladesh to introduce such an advanced system. This is a significant milestone in the history of DIU and will undoubtedly inspire other universities in Bangladesh to follow suit.With this system, DIU graduates will no longer have to worry about the authenticity of their academic certificates. Blockchain technology makes it hack-proof, tamper-proof, and virtually impossible to alter any credentials. This not only adds a layer of security but also helps reduce the scope of any fraudulent activity associated with academic certificates.
Professor Dr. M LutfarRahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University launched the system today on December 30, 2023 at Professor Aminul Islam Hall of the university.. The launching ceremony was also attended by Professor Dr. Md. Ismail Jabiullah, Controller of Examinations, Professor Dr. Syed AkterHossain, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar of Daffodil International University and other high officials of the university.
DIU initially launched the system for a limited number of recent graduates to optimize its performance before rolling it out to a larger group. This cautious approach demonstrates the university’s commitment to providing a seamless and effective system that benefits both graduates and the public.
