On the 104th birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day, an exceptional event was organized at Universal Medical College Hospital in the capital.
In the morning, the rally of the students and teachers of the medical college toured the hospital campus, then under the leadership of the managing director of the hospital, Dr. Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, various gifts including toys, paints were distributed to the children admitted in the hospital and these gifts were also distributed among the children coming to the outpatient department. . Besides, the children’s parents are given greeting gifts on the holy month of Ramadan. The hospital authorities believe that this type of program will be beneficial in developing children’s intellectual development and building Bangabandhu’s dream of Sonar Bangla.
