Daffodil Polytechnic Institute (DPI) organized “Project Fest 2024” with innovative projects of Diploma Engineering students. More than 40 projects made by students of Electrical, Electronics and Computer department of the institution are displayed in this fest. Notable among them are “FFR (Fire Fighting Robot) Version 2”, Ernst Musk, DPI Fire Fighting Robot, G-Tech etc.
Today on 4th May 2024, “Project Fest 2024” was inaugurated at Daffodil Plaza, Sobahan Bagh, Dhanmondi by Dr. Bikarna Kumar Ghosh, CEO, FBBCI Innovation and Research Centre as the Chief Guest. Dr. Md. Salim Khan, Director, BCSIR Rajshahi Laboratories, Md. Mokhtar Ahmed Deputy Secretary, Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman CEO, Daffodil Family and K M Hasan Ripon, Principal, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute were present as special guests on the occasion.
After visiting the showcase of projects at the Project Fest, Dr. Bikarn Kumar Ghosh, expressed that students not only need academic education but also need to apply their creativity to address real-life issues effectively. He highlighted that the projects developed by the students are exceptionally impressive and have the potential to effectively tackle the challenges of contemporary life and make it easier. Guests expressed hope that the projects and innovative initiatives by the students of Daffodil Polytechnic will play a significant role in solving any major issues the country may face in the distant future. It may be mentioned that since 2006, Daffodil Polytechnic Institute has been working towards producing skilled diploma engineers.
