On the occasion of National Mourning Day-2021, a tree planting programme was organized at the initiative of Midland Bank Ltd, a release said.
Md. Ahsan-uz Zaman, MD & CEO of the Bank inaugurated the tree planting at the head office premises on Sunday.
DMD of the bank Md. Zahid Hossain and other senior officials were also present at the time.
Besides, Rajshahi City Corporation Chief Executive Officer Dr. ABM Sharif Uddin inaugurated the Rajshahi tree planting programme by planting trees at the airport premises of Rajshahi metropolis at the initiative of Midland Bank Rajshahi branch. Under the programme, 1560 trees were planted from Alif Lam Mim to Budhpara Road and Chandrima Thana junction. Midland Bank Rajshahi Branch carried out the tree planting programme with the slogan “Let’s plant trees and participate in building Bangabandhu’s dream country”.
Midland Bank Rajshahi Cluster Head and Branch Manager Samiul Karim was present during the inauguration of the tree planting programme.
