The entrepreneurs of this sector have sought the government’s help to overcome the current crisis and highlighted the damage and current situation of the e-commerce sector, which has suffered a lot due to internet service shutdown and other reasons. on 31 July 2024 E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB) held a press conference in Banana office and presented some demands and suggestions to overcome the crisis. E-CAB president Mr. Shami Kaiser read the written statement in the press conference.
E-CAB president thanked the government for opening the internet and Facebook at the beginning. He said that in the last 13 days, there has been a loss of around 1700 crore rupees in this sector and the amount is increasing every day.
