BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been released. According to a press release of Bangabhavan, President Md. Khaleda Zia was released following the decision of the meeting with three army chiefs, leaders of various political parties, representatives of civil society and leaders of anti-discrimination student movement with Sahabuddin.
The notification also said that in view of the decision of this meeting, the 12th National Parliament has been dissolved. Apart from this, from July 1 to August 5, the anti-discrimination movement and the release of those arrested and detained in various cases have started. Many have already been released.
