Adviser for Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Nahid Islam Sunday said action will be taken against the officials involved in shutting down internet during the recent student protests.
He sounded the warning while talking to journalists on the maiden day of joining his office at the Secretariat here.
The access to internet is a right and disrupting or shutting down internet services is a violation of human rights, he said.
