CTRL | Thriller | October 4, 2024

This movie thrives under the direction of Vikramaditya Motwane, who also serves as the screenwriter alongside Avinash Sampath, with dialogues written by Sumukhi Suresh.

The story revolves around Nella and Joe, the quintessential influencer couple. Their idyllic relationship is shattered when Joe’s infidelity drives Nella to use an AI app to erase him from her life. Meanwhile, the frightening aspect is that the app begins to exert its control.

The prime roles are starred by Vihaan Samat and Ananya Panday. On the other hand, the supporting cast features Devika Vatsa, Kamakshi Bhat, Suchita Trivedi, Samit Gambhir, Ravish Desai, and Aparshakti Khurana.

The production credit goes to Arya Menon and Nikhil Dwivedi under the banners of Andolan Films and Saffron Magicworks.

Shahkot | Drama | October 4, 2024

With dialogues penned by Davinder Virk, this drama movie is shaped by the writing and directing of Rajiv Dhingra.

‘Shahkot’ follows Iqbal Singh, a resolute Punjabi youth with dreams of going abroad, whose journey takes an unforeseen twist, altering the course of his life in unexpected ways.

Starring Isha Talwar, Raj Babbar, Guru Randhawa, and Seema Kaushal, the film’s production is spearheaded by 751 Films, Aim7Sky Studios, and Rapa Nui’s Films.

Bihu Attack | Action | October 9, 2024

This pulse-pounding action drama excels with Suzad Iqbal Khan as its director and writer.

Besides starring in the leading role- Major Raj Kunwar of the Indian Army, Dev Menaria also produced the movie on behalf of PKS Films Production. The supporting cast includes Arbaaz Khan, Rahul Dev, Daisy Shah, Raza Murad, Shahbaaz Khan, and Hiten Tejwani.

This film details Azhar Masood’s illegal activities, including arms trafficking and orchestrating terrorist attacks on Assam’s Bihu festival, with support from China and Burma.

Jigra | Action Thriller | October 11, 2024

Satya, a young woman marked by a troubled past, clings to the last person in her life- her brother, imprisoned and tortured overseas. With no other recourse, Satya must rise to the challenge and undertake a daring rescue mission to free him and ensure his safety.

With this plot, ‘Jigra’ highlights the direction of Vasan Bala, who also penned the script with Debashish Irengbam. This is a modern adaptation of Dharma Productions’ 1993 classic, ‘Gumrah’.

The action movie boasts production by Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Soumen Mishra, Apoorva Mehta, and Shaheen Bhatt under Dharma Productions, Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.

Vicky Vidya Ka-Woh Wala Video | Comedy Drama Film | October 11, 2024

Featuring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri in the title roles, this comedy movie is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who contributed to the story and screenplay with Yusuf Ali Khan. The screenwriter team also includes Ishrat Khan and Rajan Agarwal.

 

The film tracks Vicky and Vidya, a newlywed couple who plan to capture their first night together on video as a cherished memory. Their plans are upended when the CD containing their intimate footage is stolen. It leads to a comedic adventure as they scramble to recover it before their situation spirals further.

The movie is brought to fruition by producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Vimal Lahoti, and the director Shaandilyaa.
