Free heart camp held at Universal Cardiac Hospital

On the occasion of World Heart Day, a day-long “Free Heart Camp” was held at the Universal Cardiac Hospital of the capital. In this free heart camp, which was held from 10 am to 8 pm in the hospital premises opposite Mahakhali Rawa, about three hundred patients received specialized medical advice free of charge.

Given by Universal Cardiac Hospital Chief Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgeon Professor Dr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Chief of Clinical and Interventional Cardiology Professor Dr. Khandaker Kamrul Islam, Senior Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist Professor (Dr.) Amal Kumar Chowdhury, Clinical and Interventional Cardiologist – Dr. Sania Haque ; Medicine Specialist & Clinical & Interventional Cardiologist – Dr. MA Hasnat; Cardiovascular Surgeon – Dr. Rezwana Siddique, Pediatric Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Rezwana Rima, Clinical & Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Abdul Jabba.

On the same day, a similar “Free Heart Camp” was held for the residents of Brahmanbaria at Universal Medical Services Limited in Brahmanbaria, where Dr. Md. Nazmul Haque, assistant professor of Universal Medical College Hospital (specialist in heart disease and medicine) gave specialized medical advice to hundreds of patients free of charge.

In this regard, Dr. Ashish Kumar Chakraborty, Managing Director of the hospital said, “Universal Medical College Hospital is not just a private hospital, social responsibility is an integral feature of our hospital and I am hopeful that we will organize similar free camps in the future.”

It should be noted that Universal Medical College Hospital has been organizing such free health camps for patients for a long time.
