BRAC Bank’s student banking segment, Agami, organised the ‘UK & IELTS Education Expo’ in collaboration with the British Council Bangladesh.
The two-day event occurred on October 20 and 21, at the British Council premises.
The expo aimed to provide aspiring students with valuable insights and resources for pursuing education abroad, particularly in the UK, and preparing for the IELTS exam.
Attendees had the chance to consult with five prominent student consultancy agencies: AH&Z, Oziha Consultancy, Mentors, IECC, and Banglay IELTS.
Renowned industry experts conducted three exclusive interactive sessions on the IELTS exam. The sessions included presentations from Asir Intisar Samy, Head of IELTS at Mentors; Sayedul Abrar, Academic and Corporate English Solutions Lead at British Council Bangladesh; and Sana Shahid, Master Trainer at British Council Bangladesh.
The experts covered critical components of the IELTS exam, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Approximately 260 students and customers attended the event, which received highly positive feedback. To further support attendees, BRAC Bank is offering a 50% discount on student file opening fees until June 2025.

It offers tailored products such as the Agami Savers Account, Future Star School Banking Account, Agami Personal Loan, Student File Services, and a Study Abroad Credit Card, helping students achieve financial independence.
