KUET holds Digital Skills training programme

The certificate distribution ceremony of the first ten batches of Digital Skills for Students training programme of the Central Computer Centre of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) was held in the university auditorium on Friday.

KUET Vice-Chancellor Prof Muhammad Masud chaired the programme.

A total of 221 trainees have successfully passed various courses in ten batches under the project.

The VC handed over certificates and gifts to them.

He said this training would play a very important role in building skilled manpower.

“We will give our best efforts to make this government’s initiative of creating skilled manpower successful,” he added.

Project Director Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain, Head of Computer Science and Engineering department Prof MMA Hashem, Director of Information and Communication Technology Institute Prof Ashraful Gani Bhuiyan and Chairman of the Central Computer Centre and Training Coordinator of the project Prof Md Arafat Hossain were present.

Among the trainers, Head of Mechatronics Engineering department Dr Mohiuddin Ahmad, West Zone Power Distribution Company Executive Engineer (System Analyst) Engineer Md Mosharraf Hossain and Digital Biz Institute Chief Executive Officer Mehdi Hasan Prince spoke at the programme.

Sabrina Parveen Lima, Mohammad Ashraful Rahman and Manik Matubbar, who have completed the training successfully, also shared their thoughts at the event.
