SEB distributes CSR fund to farmers

As part of its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Southeast Bank PLC (SEB) has extended financial support to farmers across three significant areas: “Increase yield in agricultural sector,” “Purchase of Agricultural Equipment,” and “Processing of Agricultural Products.” Nuruddin Md. Sadeque Hossain, Managing Director of Southeast Bank PLC., distributed the financial assistance to grassroots farmers at the bank’s head office. This support, provided through a special fund, underscores the bank’s dedication to uplifting marginal farmers. Southeast Bank PLC. collaborated with Faridpur Development Agency (FDA) NGO to channel this assistance to those in need. Md. Abu Saher Alam, Executive Director of Faridpur Development Agency (FDA) NGO, attended the event, accompanied by the farmers. Md. Masum Uddin Khan and Abidur Rahman Chowdhury, Deputy Managing Directors of Southeast Bank PLC., were also present along with other officials of both institutions at the ceremony.
