BAT Bangladesh has received two silver awards – one is under the ‘Manufacturing Category’ for the best presented annual report at the SAFA BPA Awards 2023 and another is under the ‘MNC Manufacturing’ category at the 14th ICMAB Best Corporate Award.
The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) awards companies that excel in sustainable practices, corporate governance and financial discipline, says a press release.
On the other hand, The South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) recognises organisations that demonstrate excellence in governance, financial reporting, compliance and transparency.
The SAFA BPA Awards 2023 event was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, recently.
BAT Bangladesh Company Secretary and Senior Legal Counsel Syed Afzal Hossain and Assistant Company Secretary Md Atiqur Rahman were present there.
Senior Corporate Finance Manager of BAT Bangladesh Shahriar Hasnaine and Assistant Company Secretary Md Atiqur Rahman received the award.
