Shortly after the trailer release of 840, also titled Democracy Pvt. Ltd., it created a buzz among audiences. The burning question on everyone’s mind was, ‘When and where can we watch 840?’ The wait is almost over—Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s 840 is set to hit cinemas nationwide on December 13.
The official poster of 840 was unveiled on the evening of December 8, with the announcement that the film will premiere on December 13.
The cast includes Nasir Uddin Khan, Marzuk Russell, Fazlur Rahman Babu, Zakia Bari Mamo, and several talented local actors from Rajshahi and Naogaon.
Previously, director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki sparked conversations about Bangladesh’s contemporary social and political inconsistencies with his groundbreaking series 420. Now, its follow-up, 840 (also titled Democracy Pvt. Ltd.), is set to continue that legacy.
The film is produced by Nusrat Imrose Tisha in collaboration with Impress Telefilm. Sheikh Razibul Islam handled the cinematography, with music direction by Pavel Arin and sound design by Ripon Nath. The editing was crafted by Tahsin Mahim, while Ibrahim H Babu oversaw the art design. Costumes were designed by Pujanjoly Chowdhury, and Md Khairul Islam managed the makeup.
