The 377th meeting of the Board of Directors of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC (SJIBL) was held on 17th April at the Corporate Head Office of the bank. The meeting was presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. A. K. Azad, MP. The Board of Directors approved the audited financial statements for the year ended 31st December 2023 and based on that recommended 14% cash dividend for the Shareholders. The Vice-Chairmen of the Board Mr. Mohammed Younus, the Directors Dr. Anwer Hossain Khan, MP; Mr. Md. Sanaullah Shahid, Mr. Abdul Karim (participated in this meeting through digital platform), Mr. Md. Abdul Barek, Mr. Abdul Halim, Mr. Akkas Uddin Mollah, Mr. Khandaker Shakib Ahmed, Mr. Fakir Akhtaruzzaman, Mr. Md. Moshiur Rahman Chamak, Mrs. Jabun Nahar (participated in this meeting through digital platform), Mr. Fakir Mashrikuzzaman, Independent Directors Mr. Ekramul Haque and Mr. K. A. M. Majedur Rahman were present in the meeting. Besides, the Managing Director Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed and the Company Secretary of the Bank Mr. Md. Abul Bashar were also present in the meeting.
