The 9th meeting of the International Service Organizers” (ISO) was organized in the Gulshan Club of the city yesterday, November 18 2022. The meet was organized by the International Women’s Voluntary Organization Inner Wheel District 345.
Dr. Selina Hayat Ivy, Mayor of the Narayanganj City Corporation addressed the meet as the chief guest. Inner Wheel Dist. 345 chairman Dr. Mollika Biswas, past district ISO Tahera Muzaffar, Inner Wheel Bangladesh national representative Mohsena Reza, past board director of Junta International Dilruba Ahmed also spoke on the occasion among others.
Dr. Selina Hayat Ivy said, Every woman needs to be aware of her own strength, and she herself will have to create her position in the society.”
She highlighted Inner Wheel’s role in empowering women, and their relentless work for the welfare of the distressed, and neglected people of the society. She also praised Inner Wheel for their efforts in making the bridge among the women across the world.
Dr. Mollika Biswas in her welcome speech said, Women should have their own dream. Nowadays, every woman can realize her dream, as regard to her family and society, for which she needs to work with determination.”
Dilruba Ahmed, past board director of Junta International presented the present picture of violence against women in the society and stressed the need for a strong and united movement against it.
Members of the Inner Wheel clubs from different corners of the country participated in the day-long meet.
