ACI Limited has launched world renowned Mitsubishi marine engines in Bangladesh, a press release said Saturday. A grand event has been organized on the occasion of the launching of Mitsubishi Marine Engine in Bangladesh on 10 March 2023 at InterContinental Dhaka in the city. Kiminori Iwama, Japanese ambassador to Bangladesh, was present as the chief guest in the event. Rear Admiral Mohammad Sohail, chairman of Payra Port authority, and Dr. AKM Matiur Rahman, joint secretary and member (engineering) of BIWTA, were present as the special guests.Dr. FH Ansarey, MD of ACI Marine and Riverine Technologies Ltd., has given the opening speech. Dr. Arif Dowla, MD of ACI Limited, Subrata Ranjan Das, executive director of ACI Motors Limited, Yoshihiro Koyama, director of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine & Turbocharger Ltd. (MHIET), and Norio Murakami, MD of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Engine System-Asia (MHIES-A) were also present.
