Agritech e-commerce, Agromukam BD Ltd is the first e-commerce marketplace which enables farmers to directly access the market and other agribusinesses, press release said Friday. The platform strongly supports B2B, F2B (farmers to business), B2C, F2C and F2G (farmers to government). It has secured an investment of Tk 1 crore from Midland Bank Ltd (MDB) as MDB startup loan on January 4. Md Ahsan-uzZaman, managing director & CEO of MDB, and TouhidulAlam Zenith, chairman of Agromukam BD Ltd, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Md ZahidHossain, DMD, MdJavedTareq Khan, head of institutional banking division, MdAhsanJamilHossain, head of SME Banking Division, and MdBajlurRahman Khan, acting head of CRM Division of Midland Bank, and Iftekharul Islam, managing director of Agromukam BD Ltd, were also present on the occasion along with other officials of the organizations.
