Al-Arafah Islami Bank (AIB) PLC opened its 226th branch at Habiganj on 7 October. Managing Director and CEO of the Bank Farman R. Chowdhury inaugurated the new branch as chief guest. Deputy Managing Director Md. Aminul Islam Bhuiyan gave a welcome speech on the occasion. Senior Executive Vice President of the Bank Engr. Md Habib Ullah, Muhtamim of Umed Nagar Madrasa Mowlana Tahfimul Haque, Professor of Aleya Zahir College Partho Pratim Das and respectable depositor Md. Ashraf Ali Khan spoke at the branch opening ceremony. Sylhet Zonal Head and Senior Executive Vice President Abdur Rahim Duary presided over the ceremony. Executive Vice President and Head of PR Jalal Ahmed conducted the ceremony.
