On the anniversary of the martyrdom of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the National Mourning Day programme was observed under the leadership of Shirin Ahmed MP, Acting President of Bangabandhu Sainik League by showing homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation, said a press release.
Later, homage and prayers were offered at Banani grave yard. Bangabandhu Sainik League Member Secretary Harunur Rashid, Vice President Md. Sahidur Rahman, Joint General Secretary Tamjid Rahman Turja and other leaders were present at the occasion.
At 11:30 am, a delegation of Bangabandhu Sainik League paid homage and offered prayers at the shrine of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara.
