Banglalink holds closing ceremony of ‘Learn from the Startups 2.0’ program

The second season of Banglalink Learn from the Startups, a program designed to give undergraduate students an opportunity to work with and learn from top startups in the country, has been completed officially. A virtual panel discussion titled “Driving Digital Transformation by Developing Entrepreneurial Mindsets” was held on the occasion of its closing ceremony Wednesday, a press release said.

MohibulHasanChowdhoury MP, Honorable Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education joined the program as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Abdul HannanChowdhury, Dean and Professor, North South University, Prof. Dr Mohammad Rakibul Islam, Dean and Faculty of Science and Technical Education, Islamic University of Technology and MonzulaMorshed, Chief Human Resources & Administration Officer, Banglalink were present as panelists. The closing note was delivered by TaimurRahman, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink.

Banglalink affiliated with North South University, Islamic University of Technology, Military Institute of Science and Technology, American International University Bangladesh, Asian University for Women and United International University for recruiting enthusiastic participants. Around 100 students from these universities participated in the program through their respective career clubs.

MohibulHasanChowdhoury MP, Honorable Deputy Minister, Ministry of Education said, “Banglalink is endeavoring to prepare our youngsters for the challenges they will face as professionals or entrepreneurs in future through such programs. This is an example of how the corporate sector can contribute to youth empowerment by opening up learning opportunities for them. I wish this program all the success and expect to see the participants among future leaders of Digital Bangladesh.”

TaimurRahman, Chief Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Officer, Banglalink said, “Learn from the Startups is one of our programs that have been launched as part our objective to help talented university students develop key competencies. In this program, they get the opportunity to learn startup dynamics, idea generation, market implementation and other important aspects of the startup ecosystem from experienced entrepreneurs. This learning will surely enable them to enter the corporate sector or begin an entrepreneurial journey with more confidence and courage in future.”
